Information graphics

Information graphics for showing processes, relations and proportions in visuals combined with text. It is a type of illustration where the most important work take place before the actual visual is produced. It is all about condensing the information to its essence and presenting the result in a easily understood combination.

Learning styles

There are two good reasons for using information graphics as much as possible. The most obvious is for information that would be impossible to present in an other ways (an example is maps and flowcharts). And even if it was possible – it is better to do it as information graphics because you use more senses (and bigger parts of your brain) to process the information. This in turn helps comprehension, learning and recollection of the information. In short – it is better!
